Aladdin is the 31st Disney animated feature, released in theaters on November 25, 1992. Despite being planned since January 1993, the VHS was released on October 1, 1993, and became the best-selling video of that year. Both Pinocchio and Aladdin returned to moratorium on April 30, 1994, before The Return of Jafar was released.

The laserdisc also includes the documentary "The Making of Aladdin: A Whole New World", first seen on the Disney Channel on November 15, 1992. In addition, Aladdin was the second Disney animated feature to be presented in letterbox widescreen.

Synopsis

Television broadcasts

Aladdin premiered on the Disney Channel on May 14, 1995. It remained there until after August 13. Sometimes, The Making of Aladdin: A Whole New World also aired with it.
