The fifth season of Arthur premiered on PBS in late September 2000. This season was funded by Libby's Juicy Juice, Post Alpha-Bits, Lego, the U.S. Department of Education, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Viewers Like You.
The pbskids.org and "Check out the library!" bumper was entirely changed for this season.
The Season 6 funding credits went into permanent effect for this season late in 2001, with Chuck E. Cheese's replacing Lego as of late 2002, Teddy Grahams replacing Post Alpha-Bits as of early 2004, and Dannon Danimals replacing Rhodes 60-Second Cinnamon Rolls as of early 2006.
