Bridle Gossip is the ninth episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Synopsis
When the ponies are afflicted with bizarre and humorous sicknesses they accuse a mysterious zebra named Zecora of placing a curse on them.
Production
This episode started off as a "Shaman Episode" on November 9, 2009. An extended outline was written on November 24, 2009 by Amy Keating Rogers, when the episode was officially titled "Bridle Gossip".
The first full script was written on December 22, 2009. At that time, Shaman's name was changed to Zecora. Revisions were made to the script from January 5–7, 2010. Voice recording began on February 8.
The first animatic was submitted for review on May 26, 2010.
The first fully animated version was submitted for review on August 30, 2010.
The musical score was added to the episode on September 29, 2010.
Production was officially complete on October 29, 2010.
