Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Diddy Kong Racing Mario Party Mario Party 3 Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble			Like the Sonic games listed above, these Nintendo games were also never released for Virtual Console. Diddy Kong Racing contained characters that were owned by Microsoft since September 24, 2002, while the Mario Party games and Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble had controlling issues, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island's reason was unknown.
Luigi's Mansion Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Mario Sunshine Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Mario Party 4 Mario Party 5 Mario Party 6 Mario Party 7 Kirby Air Ride Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Sonic Mega Collection Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut Sonic Heroes Shadow the Hedgehog Sonic Riders			All Nintendo GameCube games still remain out of print, as these games were incompatible with the Wii U, nor were they ever released on the Nintendo eShop due to their huge game disc sizes (1.4 GB).

January 10	Pinocchio was released on Digital HD for the first time.
January 13	Monster Trucks premiered in theaters.
	The Nintendo Switch was presented at a press event in Tokyo. Its first two games in the Mario franchise, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey, also had their first trailers.
February 7	My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Exploring the Crystal Empire was released on DVD.
February 10	The Lego Batman Movie premiered in theaters.
February 21	Moana was released on Digital HD.
March 3	Sing was released on Digital HD.
March 7	Moana was released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade was also released on DVD and digital streaming.
March 15	Season 7 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was first teased online. Commercials for this season aired on Discovery Family starting the next day.
March 20	Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook continued with more episodes on YouTube.
March 21	Sing was released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.

April 14	Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook ended with the 10th and final episode, "The Magic of Friendship".

April 16	Discovery Family GO! was released on the App Store. The first two Season 7 episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic were some of the first to appear on the app.

April 30	Just one day after "Rock Solid Friendship" (from Season 7 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) premiered on Discovery Family, the very next episode, "Fluttershy Leans In", premiered on Treehouse TV in Canada.
