Overview[]

After the death of Danny Tanner's wife Pam, uncle Jesse and best friend Joey are recruited to help raise Danny's three daughters, D.J., Stephanie and Michelle. Later in the show, Rebecca Donaldson falls in love with Jesse, and they get married halfway through the series.

  • The shorter versions of the intros were used starting with the off-network syndication reruns.
  • In its debut on Nick at Nite, Full House aired six episodes in a row, from 9:00 p.m. to midnight!
  • Full House is currently the longest running program on Nick at Nite, despite its occasional removals from the channel.

Home video releases[]

As planned since late 2004, Warner Home Video released all eight seasons of Full House on DVD beginning on February 8, 2005 with the first season. Each DVD was originally priced at $29.98, while early seasons got reduced to $26.98 about two years after release.

Each DVD costed $29.98, with an additional $30 more for each season in boxsets.

The complete series 32-disc DVD collection comprises of all 192 episodes that aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995, and was given a price tag of $169.98, making each season boxset less expensive than as usual, and one episode worth less than a dollar each. It was re-released on June 3, 2014, when all other seasons besides Season 1 were also made available for digital streaming since then.
