Sonic R Sonic Shuffle			These Sonic the Hedgehog games have remained out of print ever since their consoles were discontinued.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Diddy Kong Racing Mario Party Mario Party 3			Like the Sonic games listed above, these Nintendo games were also never released for Virtual Console. Diddy Kong Racing contained characters that were owned by Microsoft since September 24, 2002, while the Mario Party games had control stick-spinning minigames, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island's reason was unknown.
Pokémon Gold and Silver Pokémon (Crystal) Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble Sonic Battle			The second-generation Pokémon games were awaiting releases on the Nintendo eShop. As for Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble, it was never planned for a re-release on the eShop due to the game's motion sensors. Sonic Battle was also never re-released.
Luigi's Mansion Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Mario Sunshine Mario Kart: Double Dash!! November 23	Moana premiered in theaters. This film included a teaser trailer for Cars 3.
December 2	Super Mario Maker, currently available for Wii U, was now released for Nintendo 3DS.
December 6	The Secret Life of Pets was released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, while Storks was released on Digital HD, and the remaining 26 episodes of Sonic X on DVD from Discotek Media.
December 20	The latter film then got a Blu-ray Disc on this date.
	The rest of Season 6 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was released on Netflix.
December 21	Sing premiered in theaters. This film contained the first trailers for Despicable Me 3 and The Emoji Movie.
