Lesson Zero is the third Season 2 episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. From this episode onwards, Princess Celestia lets all of Twilight's friends write her letters about friendship.
When this episode first aired, all other episodes to date have reran on The Hub at least once since August 24, 2011, while those from The Ticket Master have reran since September 20.
Synopsis[]
Hyper-organized Twilight panics when she can't find a lesson about friendship for her weekly letter to Princess Celestia.
Production[]
On August 6, 2010, Lauren Faust wrote premises for this episode along with Luna Eclipsed, Sisterhooves Social and a canceled episode titled "Smothered Brother".
As for Lesson Zero, the outline of that episode was written by Meghan McCarthy from August 13–20, 2010, then the first full script on August 25 through September 27, 2010. Revisions were made from October 1–18, and voice recording began on November 23.
The completed animatic for this episode was submitted for review on March 7, 2011.
A rough cut of the animated episode was submitted for review on July 15, 2011.
Production was officially complete on September 6, 2011.
