The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was the other of the first two Disney animated features released on VHS and Betamax tapes for rental in June 1981, as well as the first animated feature ever to go on sale that year.

In late 1985, when fellow films Dumbo and Alice in Wonderland both transferred to the Walt Disney Classics, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh split into three individual films, before they all got VHS releases in early 1986, and have been that way until the 1990s.

Disney magic brings A.A. Milne's beloved children's story alive in this enchanting animated movie. It's back to the days of Pooh Bear and Christopher Robin. Back to blustery days, honey trees, swarming bees and the Hundred Acre Wood. Here's Winnie and all his wonderful friends... in an unforgetable and rare film treat. With the voices of Sterling Holloway as Winnie the Pooh and Paul Winchell as Tigger.
